The true book-lover does not turn down leaves, nor bend them and does not leave a book lying open on its face, nor break its back in opening it.

I love my books. "A word to the wise is sufficient."

  1. That's a wise word . . . but sixty years ago I loved my Nancy Drew books almost to death. They became bent and broken, but I read them over and over again anyway.

  2. Absolutely love that bookmark - wish my local library would make bookmarks with those words (translated to Danish) as too many people are careless when borrowing books

Love your book and have bought it as a present to many friends

  3. I love this and such wise words. Books are friends to treasure and look after, although it doesn’t hurt when they get a bit ratty around the edges from reading them over and over. That just proves your love for them ❤️
