Go Ask Alice

How do we keep the enthusiasm and avoid the destruction?

Getting the state to do what religion can’t itself do? (little league)

Any religion that needs the state to subsidize and support it doesn’t deserve to survive

Found in "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. Published by Doubleday circa 1950.

  1. this one really makes you wonder < shakes head> talk about down down the rabbit hole:-)

  2. Little League questions for a Big League book.

  3. At least I think it says "little league."

Doesn't seem to fit at all, but I couldn't think of anything else it might be,

  4. Unless it says "settle seague", but that makes even less sense! Or maybe "seague" is a lawsuit, and the writer is wondering about settling?

But the first thing I thought of was an article in our local newspaper. It's about the girl who got the Little League organization to allow girls to play baseball.
