Any information in the Bible? Was it a family bible with genealogy information? I'm up for trying to identify the photo if I have more clues.

If you click on the link, it will go to today's bookperdiem listing. There's a photo of the family history page.

Years ago, I bought a huge, old, very cool Bible at an estate sale held by a professional - apparently no family members could be found. There was so much info on the Births/Deaths page that I was able to locate a branch of the family and gave them the Bible (and the name of the estate sale company.) It was a really rewarding thing to do!

It breaks my heart to see old family photos like this, unclaimed.

Seeing their photo, it makes me wish even more that they had marginalia and notes in their Bible by specific verses.
