I don't think I've ever seen a book title in quotation marks on a binding before. Or at least, I must not have noticed the quotation marks on "National Velvet" before today! My eyes must have just passed over them. LOL! But now that I did notice, I'm quite puzzled. That's not the norm for a title. Google wasn't helpful. I figured there'd be a note about why the author did that on the wiki page. But, sadly, no. Hm. Anyone know the reason behind the quotation marks?
