Pressed Into Service

I don't usually post the random pressed and dried flowers and plants I find in books; I come across them so often and there are so many more interesting things to share with you. This particular batch of flora was too much to resist.

The book is volume five of "The New Testament with Commentary and Critical Notes by Adam Clarke" published by B. Waugh and T. Mason, 1833.

There was another volume from the same set in the box, and yet that one didn't have a single plant inside.

Here's How

Just wanted to share something a little different today - here's a 1941 book of cocktail recipes bound in wood boards.

It's called "Here's How: Mixed Drinks" compiled and edited by W.C Whitfield and published by Three Mountaineers, Asheville NC.
