Those old readers are always so interesting to look at. What a great find!

Love the old group photos. Nice to see that someone cared enough to put the names on the back, too.

I love old school class photos. In one of my Dad's elementary class photos, there's at least 2 kids who didn't have shoes on. In my maternal grandmother's elementary class photo, almost all the boys didn't have any shoes on.

I love to read names included on old photos. So many names have fallen out of fashion.

Wonderful! I love old textbooks!I would've flipped to find this in a book! Wherever I see old books, I always leaf through them to look for "treasures". You are a lucky man to get to find so many mini time capsules! Thank you for sharing them with us!

My son has been a treasure hunter since birth. When we would go to thrift stores, he would zoom over to the books and one by one fan through them to find treasure. He found recipes, receipts, flowers, letters and tickets and postcards but my favorite was when he was about 9 and came to me with a yellow stained crispy old tissue. "Yuck" I said,"Where did you get this?" He showed me a book about breastfeeding!!! He has since started collecting books that predate the 1900's and has about 50 now. It's so weird yet wonderful to see a boy,11 now with such an interesting hobby. I collect old cookbooks so I guess it's in the blood!
