Specifically, I believe this was taken slightly west of the intersections of Race and Front St. (but not N. Front Street). There's a giant brick wall, and rt 95 in the way now, so you're unlikely to recreate the view. I think, though, that this is the spot, but the elevation is about 20 feet too high, because of rt. 95... http://goo.gl/maps/4ZYpAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12207022599663603977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8163423095612471504.post-35217067481950423312012-06-23T17:11:31.073-04:002012-06-23T17:11:31.073-04:00My husband say this is a more precise location (ch...My husband say this is a more precise location (check out the fire escape on the right)... Not so picturesque now, but you only have to go a block or two west on Race now to find the same sorts of buildings that are show in the original (delightful) photo. If you've ever seen the Travolta movie Blow Out, the street view of his apartment building is similar to this also. Terrific find and excellent Google mapping.GraceChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00519505356969312564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8163423095612471504.post-1242708161564017062012-06-21T12:35:44.772-04:002012-06-21T12:35:44.772-04:00Definitely like the "old" view the best....Definitely like the "old" view the best.Suzassippihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05684211841308097391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8163423095612471504.post-19704097265698362672012-06-21T12:34:35.456-04:002012-06-21T12:34:35.456-04:00It really neat to see the differences!
