  1. Oh boy.... I love old books so glad I found your site on FB.

By the way I also make personalized original bookmarks, check out my work at www.ast-aspecialtouch.com.

  2. I collect old books with my Daughters name either in the title or in the book "Emily". The oldest one I have is 4"x2 1/2, I have never seen the paper it is on before and it is from 1839. The name is "A Book for Emily", Providence Geo F. Daniels. It is amazing. I keep it in a special holder so not to have it fade. Awesome right!

  4. Is there anything on the back? I am thinking it is a Valentine's Day card, because of the top hat on the male chick and the presentation of 'going off together'.

  5. Nothing on the back, Tami - at least not anymore.

  6. But I have to admit the monkeys and the flag have me confused. Hmm.

I was delighted to find your book Forgotten Bookmarks in our local bookmobile and checked it out. Well done, and thank you for an enjoyable read.
