how cool is that! :-) I've never even seen a ten cent note before!
How often do you find GREEN used as bookmarks? Remarkable.
Not as often as you'd link. Found a bunch of brand-new two dollar bills, and a one here and there, otherwise not much.
I really like the cover on this book as well. It looks like it's been read a few times, but the title and embossing is really neat.
It's holding up. The pages are quite browned, as the original paper quality wasn't the best.
Who is that on the ten cent note? He doesn't look happy. What a neat find!
That's William M. Meredith.I don't think he was every happy: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a9/WMMeredith.jpg/469px-WMMeredith.jpg
Amazing--a ten cent note! Never heard of them before. How in the world do you find such unique stuff in books?
Too cool! I've never seen a 10-cent note before. What a find!
Awesome! One comes across old American coins often enough to remember that they have changed over the years, but it's rare to see old paper money so we forget that it wasn't Always Ever So. (Well, at least that was true before the recent redesign - but even the redesigned currency is quite similar to that replaced.)
I had no idea there'd ever been such a thing as a ten cent note.
Worth about 24 to 36 bucks if in good condition.
