Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the exact same napkin doodle posted on Sept. 23, 2009, supposedly found in Robert Fagles's Odyssey? Is this a case of accidentally releasing a bookmark back into the wild and recapturing it again?

No, you're totally right. I must have never put it away and it got recirculated in my stack of books to price. I'm really quite surprised I didn't realize it was a duplicate - it was my own forgotten bookmark.

The doodle being originally found in the Fagles makes more sense, since the artwork looks decidedly studentish, or bored-in-classish. That's the same edition I was assigned when I was in high school; it had recently been published, I think.
