I love your blog :) I came to here for the first time today, and then I see exactly the very hungry caterpillar on the top of the page... it was absolutely one of my favourite books in my childhood.. when i made my education for being a kindergarten teacher i read it to the kids a lot :)
I find this genuinely interesting. It's the first post I've read, just noting you've made Blogs of Note. As a book lover and bookmark lover, I am entranced and will read on.
I found your blog through a post you left on mine! how interesting! I know i will be back checking out your finds often! Would love to link up! Hugs, Froggy http://froggaritavillesbookcase.blogspot.com
Amazing! I LOVE this book and I'm SO glad I found your blog! Farrah's passing on June 25th of this year was very tragic...she was only 62. Cancer is a horrible thing!

i remember that book and loved it. of course you would find a bookmark with Farrah's name on it. how 70's.
One of my favorite children's books! Such a funny disco era find... :D
one of my favorites as well, and it looks like this is a first edition.
I wonder where Farrah is, and how old she is.
Interesting...
That it's an Edward Gorey illustrated bookmark from the Gotham Book Mart makes it all the sweeter.
An illustrator I loved as a kid is paired with one I love now.
yours is such a beautiful and interesting website...so different. completely loved it.
the header image is just amazing...wonderful.
Wow, such a cool find in a classic book.
That really dates that book. Farrah Fawcett-Majors.
Anyway, I just stumbled upon your blog and it is so cool.
I love that you managed to find something beautiful and ... sort of sentimental, shall we say, in your job that you can share with others.
Anyway, awesome blog.
Keep at it!
What a wonderful site you have here!

Wow - that's quite a find! A bookmark with Farrah's name, and a special old book. Pretty neat, especially with Farrah's tragic death this year.
