Paris, 1926 - UPDATE: Buy this item

I've gotten a bunch of inquires about this datebook, so I decided to put it up for sale on eBay. 100% of the sale price will go to BookEnds, a nonprofit that prives books for kids.

Something a little different today: I came across this French datebook from 1926 while sorting, and I thought that the entire package was worthy of posting, rather than just the bookmarks left inside. Most of the days are filled with accounting entries, grocery lists, that kind of thing. For the most part, milk was #1 on the list and bread #2. Can't argue with that.
I'll let the pictures do the talking:

  1. So cool, just out of curiousity, how much is it?

  2. I normally wouldn't sell something like this here at the bookstore... so to answer your question, I have no idea - what's the going rate for vintage French datebooks?

  3. Man, your blog is the best blog ever. I'm not a huge commenter, but I'm totally in love. So I figured it was only fair to let you know ;)

  4. Wow, this is fascinating. I too wonder how much it is - it'd be the kind of thing I'd like to own, for some reason.

By the way, the things you can't sell, what do you do with?

  5. most of the books that I find things in just go on sales floor; the items I find inside I keep, save the few things I've given away here on the site.
